Trusting in a Covenant God.

This blog is an attempt to examine and look at what it means to be Reformed. It will take a look at the Reformed Creeds and Confessions, and have observations on Theology and Doctrine. Many times you will see the term “Covenant Theology” or read about God’s Covenant promises. The foundation of Reformed faith is that God is sovereign and that He communicates to mankind through covenant. For the purposes of this blog, Reformed Theology = Covenant Theology = Biblical Theology. The hope is to create discussion and hopefully highlight areas of the Reformed faith.

Anything that glorifies God within these pages is a gift from the Holy Spirit. Any errors are that of the writer.

About the Writer

My name is Jory Jones, my wife and I both come from a Reformed Church background. She grew up in the OPC, and I grew up in the CRC. One of the conversations we had on our first date was about our belief in a Covenant God who keeps his promises. One of our shared beliefs is that God tells us that Children are a blessing and He never changes that promise.

“Sons are indeed a heritage from the Lord,

We currently have six kids with another one shortly on the way. With each arrow that God adds to our quiver we rejoice in the blessings of His promises. We attend Christ Community Church CRC in Tualatin, Oregon and are very active in the life of our church.
